Pros ✅

• 🔧 Easy to get the angle I want. Really handy for overhead cooking shots and filming figures on a table.
• 💪 Feels solid. The metal arm and clamp inspire more confidence than the floppy mounts I’ve tried.
• 🦀 Clamps onto different spots. A desk edge, pole, or tripod arm can all become mounting points.
• 📱 Great for phone set up. It lets me put the phone overhead while the G100 stays on the tripod.

Cons ❌

• 📱 Phone holder sold separately. The arm alone won’t grip your phone.
• 😬 Can wobble when stretched too far out. I’d keep it close to the clamp when possible.
• 📏 The clamp won’t fit every thick desk or pole.
• 📷 I wouldn’t hang my G100 from it. It’s much better suited to a phone, light, or other small accessory.

My verdict: One of those small pieces of gear that makes filming a lot easier. I’d give it 4.5/5 for my overhead phone shots; just don’t expect it to replace a proper camera tripod.
