👍 Pros

• Waterproof HDPE plastic — much easier to use outdoors than fabric or cardboard shelters.
• Raised off the ground, so the bottom isn’t sitting directly on a wet floor.
• Very easy to assemble — the listing says roughly five minutes and no special tools are required.
• Easy to clean because the house can be detached/disassembled.
• Can be stacked with another unit to make a multi-level cat house.
• Rounded edges and simple design, which is good for cats and doesn’t have a lot of pieces they can damage.
• At around 4.17 kg, it’s sturdy enough to feel substantial but still easy to move around.

👎 Cons

• It’s quite small. A normal-sized cat should be fine, but a very large cat or two adult cats together could feel cramped, especially once you add bedding.
• The front opening is very exposed. Some owner feedback says rain can enter through the doorway during bad weather.
• The legs aren’t very tall. I’d still put it on a slightly elevated surface if you’re using it somewhere that gets heavy rain or standing water.
• No real insulation is advertised on this particular model. Waterproof keeps rain out, but that doesn’t automatically make it good against extreme heat or cold.
• This version only has the main entrance, unlike some newer CSQOO versions that add a secondary escape door. For an outdoor/feral-cat shelter, I’d personally prefer an escape door.
• Since it’s only about 9.2 lb, I’d secure it or place it somewhere sheltered if it’s exposed to strong wind.
