The Super Saiyan 3 Goku S.H.Figuarts is a very accurate figure overall. The face, body, outfit, and the long-haired Super Saiyan 3 look are all close to what you would expect from Dragon Ball Z. On display, it has strong shelf presence right away, especially because the hair makes the figure look larger and more dramatic.

What I do not like is also connected to the same hair. From some angles, it looks really good, but from other angles, the yellow hair can look a bit strange, almost like a banana fruit hanging from a tree. It is funny, but once you see it, you cannot unsee it. The hair is also large and heavy-looking, so the weight can affect the figure when posing. You may need to be careful with balance, especially if you want more dynamic poses.

That is why I would give it a 4.4 out of 5. It is still a very good Goku figure, especially for Dragon Ball collectors, but the oversized hair design keeps it from being perfect.
