Super Saiyan 3 Son Goku Figuarts

PulsenPicks Rating: 4.4/5
Author: PulsenPicks

Pros ✅

🔥 Strong shelf presence because of the long Super Saiyan 3 hair

🐉 Very recognizable Dragon Ball Z design

💪 Great figure for Goku fans and S.H.Figuarts collectors

📸 Looks good even in a simple standing pose

🎬 Nice option for toy photography and Dragon Ball display shelves

⚔️ Works well beside other Dragon Ball figures like Vegeta, Majin Buu, Gotenks, and other Goku forms

🤸 Collector-friendly articulation for action poses and fighting stances

🌟 Good choice if you want a more dramatic Goku figure instead of the usual base or Super Saiyan version

Cons ⚠️

🟡 The long hair can make balancing harder than other Goku figures

🧍 Some poses may need more patience or a display stand

🔰 Not the simplest Goku figure for beginners to pose

💸 Price can change a lot depending on seller and availability

🚨 Be careful with listings that look too cheap because Dragon Ball figures often have bootlegs or unclear versions

📦 The big hair may take up more shelf space compared to other S.H.Figuarts figures

The Super Saiyan 3 Goku S.H.Figuarts is a very accurate figure overall. The face, body, outfit, and the long-haired Super Saiyan 3 look are all close to what you would expect from Dragon Ball Z. On display, it has strong shelf presence right away, especially because the hair makes the figure look larger and more dramatic.

What I do not like is also connected to the same hair. From some angles, it looks really good, but from other angles, the yellow hair can look a bit strange, almost like a banana fruit hanging from a tree. It is funny, but once you see it, you cannot unsee it. The hair is also large and heavy-looking, so the weight can affect the figure when posing. You may need to be careful with balance, especially if you want more dynamic poses.

That is why I would give it a 4.4 out of 5. It is still a very good Goku figure, especially for Dragon Ball collectors, but the oversized hair design keeps it from being perfect.
