STANLEY 12-in-1 Multitool 84-519K Pros and Cons
Pros ✅
🔧 12 tools in one
You get long nose pliers, wire cutter, saw, small knife, large knife, bottle opener, file, Phillips screwdriver, and multiple flat screwdrivers. Good for quick fixes, light repairs, camping, car use, and everyday emergency use.
🧰 Good basic repair tool
Very useful for opening boxes, tightening small screws, cutting wire, pulling, gripping, or doing small jobs where you do not want to bring a full toolbox.
🛠️ Stainless steel build
The stainless steel construction helps resist corrosion and makes it feel more durable for general use.
🎒 Comes with a pouch
The black nylon holster/pouch is useful because you can keep it stored properly or carry it on a belt/bag instead of letting it scratch other items.
🚗 Good for car, bike, outdoor, and backup use
This is the kind of tool you keep in the car, drawer, bag, or camping kit. Hindi siya replacement sa full tools, but when something small needs fixing, very handy siya.
💪 Pliers are the main strength
The long nose pliers, curved jaw pliers, and wire cutter are probably the most useful parts. Great for gripping, bending, pulling, and small wire work.
Cons ❌
🔪 Not a premium multitool
Do not expect Leatherman-level smoothness, locking feel, or finish. This is more of a practical budget-friendly multitool.
🪛 Screwdrivers are okay, but limited
Useful for quick tightening, but not as comfortable or precise as a real screwdriver. For serious repair work, dedicated tools are still better.
🪚 Saw and file are more for light jobs
The saw and file are useful in emergencies, but they are not for heavy cutting or serious woodworking.
⚠️ May feel bulky in the pocket
Because it has pliers and multiple tools, it is better carried in the pouch or bag rather than loose in your pocket.
🧽 Needs maintenance
Since it folds and has multiple moving parts, you still need to wipe it dry and clean it once in a while, especially after outdoor use.
